Teoría general de sistemas: un meta-análisis de estudios aplicados

Resumen

La expansión internacional de las plataformas digitales ha transformado los modelos de negocio, planteando nuevos desafíos analíticos para comprender la dinámica de la empresa en la era digital. El objeto de estudio es realizar un análisis bibliométrico sobre la literatura, con el fin de proporcionar una visión global de una de sus variantes del pensamiento sistémico enfocado en las organizaciones. Metodológicamente, se efectúa un análisis comparativo de estudios sobre la empresa, enfatizando la distinción entre enfoques sistémicos y su relación con el funcionamiento de plataformas digitales. Los principales hallazgos muestran que estas plataformas, al aprovechar efectos de red y arquitecturas digitales escalables, pueden internacionalizarse con menor dependencia de activos físicos y de la inversión extranjera directa tradicional. Asimismo, su carácter disruptivo tensiona los marcos regulatorios vigentes, reconfigura la competencia y redefine las estructuras organizacionales multinacionales. Los resultados evidencian la necesidad de adaptar las teorías clásicas de la empresa multinacional para incorporar dimensiones digitales y lógicas sistémicas, considerando la evolución de los ecosistemas digitales como factores estratégicos clave. En conclusión, se plantean líneas de investigación orientadas hacia la regulación, la sostenibilidad y los mecanismos de cooperación en entornos digitales.
