Adaptación universitaria: Influencia de la tecnología y actividades extracurriculares a través del estado socioemocional
Abstract
Este estudio analiza la adaptación universitaria de estudiantes becados en universidades privadas, proponiendo un modelo de mediación basado en la Teoría de la Autodeterminación. En un contexto de creciente incorporación de tecnologías educativas y fomento de actividades extracurriculares, se examina cómo estas variables inciden directa e indirectamente a través del estado socioemocional en el proceso de adaptación académica, social e institucional. Se aplicó un diseño cuantitativo, no experimental y transversal, con una muestra de 9.578 estudiantes beneficiarios del Programa Nacional de Becas en Lima Metropolitana-Perú. Se utilizó un cuestionario validado de 24 ítems y se analizaron los datos mediante modelado de ecuaciones estructurales (PLS-SEM). Los resultados muestran efectos positivos y significativos del uso de tecnología educativa (β=0,52) y de las actividades extracurriculares (β=0,35) sobre el estado socioemocional, así como un rol mediador parcial de este sobre la adaptación universitaria (β=0,39). El modelo propuesto explica el 63% de la varianza del estado socioemocional y el 79% de la adaptación universitaria, lo que resalta la importancia de integrar estrategias tecnológicas y socioemocionales en las políticas de apoyo estudiantil. Se concluyó que el socioemocional media la relación entre la adaptación universitaria y la participación académica y social de estudiantes becados.
